We are a pro-active, self-help group that has been supporting mental health carers for over 20 years. We currently have three groups: Derby, Ripley and Long Eaton

Mental health illnesses come in all shapes and sizes which means each caring journey is unique, however most carers have felt alone and not known where to turn at some point ,with figures showing 71% of cares in poor mental or physical health. It is for this reason our tagline is caring for carers“, to us this means allowing carers to have some respite  from looking after their loved one, and put themselves first. We aim to provide much-needed advice and guidance from guest speakers, as well as the chance to meet similar people, share experiences and seek emotional support in a relaxed atmosphere.

Each group meets once a month and welcome all mental health carers as we are always looking for new members. Food and refreshments are provided travel expenses can be reimbursed.
